1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the CatcrxEx iOS application and the public web pages and read-only APIs used by the application. CatcrxEx does not require account registration or sign-in.
The application separates public online content from user-created content. Market information is requested online. User-created watchlists, groups, rules, notes, templates, and preferences are recorded locally on the device.
2. Data handling summary
| Category | Examples | Where it is handled |
|---|---|---|
| Online Public market content | Quotes, candles, market summaries, signals, and indicator reference content | Requested from CatcrxEx public services over HTTPS |
| Online Technical request data | IP address, request time, requested URL, user-agent, and basic diagnostic or security logs | Processed by hosting and network infrastructure |
| On device User-created content | Watchlists, custom groups, alerts, notes, indicator templates, recent views, and settings | Stored locally by the application and not sent to CatcrxEx servers |
3. Information recorded locally
The following features store information on your device so they can work without an account:
- Watchlist and custom groups: selected market symbols, custom group names, group membership, and ordering.
- Recent markets: recently viewed symbols when the “Record recent views” setting is enabled.
- Alert and rule management: market symbol, rule type, threshold or indicator condition, enabled status, creation time, local trigger count, and last trigger time.
- Analysis notes: note text, associated market, note type, timeframe, reference price, tags, pinned status, and created or updated timestamps.
- Indicator setup: enabled indicators, parameters, colors, line widths, custom templates, active template, and per-market template associations.
- Application preferences: preferred language, default market, chart range, sort option, local rule evaluation setting, and recent-view setting.
- Chart preferences: the selected market class and range may also be saved in the chart WebView’s local storage.
CatcrxEx does not operate an account or cloud-sync service for this information. Depending on your operating-system settings, local application data may be included in an encrypted device backup managed by you or your platform provider.
4. Online services and technical data
When the application requests public content, it sends the requested symbol, asset class, chart interval, or range to the public CatcrxEx service. These parameters describe the content requested and are not account identifiers.
As with most internet services, hosting, content-delivery, and security infrastructure may automatically process an IP address, user-agent, timestamps, requested paths, response status, and diagnostic information. This information is used to deliver content, protect the service, diagnose failures, and maintain reliability.
CatcrxEx does not use an advertising identifier, does not include behavioral advertising SDKs, and does not sell personal information.
5. Device permissions
The current version does not request access to location, camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, or push notifications. Network access is required for public market data and online legal documents.
6. How information is used
Online technical data is used only as reasonably necessary to provide requested content, operate and secure the service, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Locally stored content is used by the application to provide the user-selected feature on the device.
8. Retention, deletion, and your choices
User-created content remains on the device until you edit or delete it, reset the relevant feature, or remove the application. Removing the application generally removes its local data, subject to any device backup controlled by you or your platform provider.
You can disable recent-view recording and local rule evaluation in Settings. You can delete watchlist entries, custom groups, alert rules, notes, and custom indicator templates from their respective management screens.
Technical server logs are retained only for a limited period consistent with operational, security, and legal needs.
9. Security and international processing
CatcrxEx uses HTTPS for online requests and applies reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect its public services. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Hosting and service providers may process technical data in countries other than your own. Where required, such processing is handled subject to applicable safeguards and law.
10. Children
CatcrxEx is a general market-analysis tool and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. The service does not knowingly collect account information from children because it does not offer user accounts.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the application, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published.
